Slemma 8.0 Product Update Transition
How current customers are affected by the Slemma 8.0 update
The Slemma team proudly announces some big changes to both our website and app in our new version 8.0. To read about these changes, check out this detailed blog post. The purpose of this post is to highlight how these new changes, specifically the new Slemma pricing structure, will affect current customers.
Before you continue to read, we want to assure you that no features will be removed for current customers.
Here are the changes that will apply to each pricing plan:
Starter Plan
Users currently on the Starter plan will retain current features until they decide to upgrade. The only difference is: because of the new data refreshing mechanism (explained below) all datasets set for hourly/daily refresh, we revert to a manual refresh. Current Starter plan users are not losing access to daily refresh, they must simply go to each dataset and turn it on.
Small Business Plan
Users who purchased the Small Business plan before May 15th, 2017 will not lose any features within their account.
Starting on May 15th, these changes will be applied to the Small Business plan:
- Because of the new data refreshing mechanism (explained below) all datasets set for hourly refresh, unless otherwise contacted, we revert to a daily refresh rate. Current Small Business plan users are not losing access to hourly refresh, they must simply go to each dataset and turn it on.
- Client reporting features will be enabled for all Small Business plan users; old and new! This includes the ability to use a user seat for either internal (“Team members”) or external (“Clients”).
- Dynamic filtering, dashboard templating, and client management features will be enabled for all Small Business plans at no charge.
Standard Plan
Current users on the Small Business plan can upgrade to the Standard plan without losing access to hourly automated refreshing.
Client Reporting
This plan enables all features and therefore does not require any special transition notes. Anyone who upgrades to this plan from any other plan will not require anything different from new customers.
Data Refreshing
We are introducing a new data refreshing mechanism that will greatly increase the user experience and simplicity of the Slemma app.
All integrations, regardless of data source type, will have a refresh rate. This acts as a default for all datasets created on this integration. Currently, cloud service integrations are the only integrations that have a refresh rate.
This means that all Database integrations will be given a default refresh rate at 00:00 local time. All datasets created from these integrations after this release will have this default refresh rate, unless the default is changed. A user will have to go and change the refresh rate on each dataset if they wish it to be different from the integration default.
Dashboard Template Library
Slemma now offers a library of dashboard templates to its customers! There will be a total of 25 templates spread across the following 10 connectors: Infusionsoft, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Hubspot, Insightly, BaseCRM, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, QuickBooks, and Zendesk.
